The VT-6000W is a portable V-TAC speaker from the Soundor 8.2 line – a black, cylindrical column on wheels with a top carry handle, built around two 8-inch woofers. An LED light strip runs along the housing and switches on and off separately, and the top control panel has a digital display with volume dials.
Size and moving it around
The column measures 32 × 29.5 × 65 cm and weighs 5.2 kg. The handle on top and the wheels at the base let you move it without lifting the full weight – a dimension worth comparing with the spot where the speaker will stand, since at 65 cm it won't fit on a typical shelf.
Power and battery runtime
The speaker charges through a DC 5V input, and its built-in 3.7V, 2400mAh battery needs 5–6 hours to charge and runs for 2–4 hours unplugged – a window worth planning around for longer outdoor use. V-TAC lists the speaker's output as 600W P.M.P.O. (peak momentary power output), while each of the two 8-inch woofers is rated 30W continuous – a figure worth knowing before comparing it with another column's wattage.
Connecting audio sources and karaoke
The control panel on top has a combined AUX/microphone input, a USB port and a TF card slot, and audio can also be sent over Bluetooth. A TWS icon on the panel lets two of these speakers pair into a stereo set. One wired microphone is included, and separate ECHO and MIC VOL dials adjust the echo effect and microphone level independently from the music – features aimed at karaoke use. The speaker also comes with an RF remote control. The housing is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors or under cover, not out in the rain.
