ALLEGRO is a low bedside table on four splayed legs. The carcass is glued beech board and the legs are solid beech; the whole piece is finished in linseed oil and wax in a walnut tone, with the pattern of the jointed timber blocks showing on the top and sides.
How big it is and where it goes
The table is 45 cm wide, 35 cm deep and 34 cm high. That last figure belongs next to the height of your own mattress: beside a low bed the top lands roughly at sleeping level, beside a higher one it sits below. The 45 × 35 cm surface takes a lamp, a phone and a glass without crowding.
The legs are 14 cm tall, and that is the clearance left under the carcass — worth comparing with the head of your own vacuum cleaner. Because they splay outwards they reach beyond the outline of the box, so at the bedside the table claims a little more room than the 45 cm width suggests.
What it holds
The manufacturer did not fit a drawer. Under the top there is one open niche running the full width of the carcass, open front to back — a book or a remote sits in plain view and can be seen from the room. That shortens the reach for small things but hides nothing.
What it is made of, and how to look after it
The carcass is glued beech board and the legs are cut from solid beech. The surface is treated with linseed oil and wax rather than lacquer — an oiled finish leaves the grain open and feels matt instead of coated. The manufacturer advises dry cleaning, so a damp cloth is better avoided.
Assembly and delivery
The table arrives in one carton measuring 48 × 37 × 9 cm and weighing 7.4 kg. The thickness of the box tells the rest: the piece travels in parts and is screwed together on site. Assembled, the table weighs 6.8 kg.
The manufacturer plans for one-person assembly and includes the instructions and an assembly tool. Beyond that you need your own hammer and a flat and a cross-head screwdriver; a cordless driver with an S4 bit is recommended.
