3-circuit lighting track CTLS TRACK 3 CIRCUIT 1M black 8714 Nowodvorski

CTLS TRACK 3 CIRCUIT 1M (article 8714) is a black, matt 100 cm length of three-circuit track from the Nowodvorski CTLS (Commercial Track Light System). The aluminium profile is 32 mm wide and 36 mm high, with a 14.5 mm slot underneath into which the spotlight adapters clip.

What is in the box and what you need to add

The box holds the track, mounting screws and an instruction sheet. The section has no power inlet of its own, so it needs a separate part to feed it: the black CTLS POWER END CAP — right (8713) or left (8233) — or the CTLS POWER SUPPLY KIT 3 CIRCUIT (8283). The free end of the run is closed with a CTLS DEAD END CAP (8711).

Further sections are joined with connectors from the same system: straight (8708), L, T and X corners, or flexible (8700). The longer section is CTLS TRACK 3 CIRCUIT 2M (8716). The manual marks polarity with a red line: the earth contact of every section must sit on the same side along the whole run.

Mounting and load

The track screws straight to the ceiling — on the 1 m section the fixing holes are 78.3 cm apart — or hangs from the CTLS SUSPENSION KIT 3 CIRCUIT (8697). It is protection class I, so it needs a protective earth conductor, and installation is carried out by a qualified electrician.

The manufacturer rates it at 16 A and 3.7 kVA on a ~220–230 V, 50/60 Hz supply. That is the limit for the spotlights fed through the track: their combined load must stay within it. The three circuits let you split the spotlights into separately switched groups, provided the installation brings three separately switched live conductors to the track.

Where it fits

The track is for indoor use only and weighs 0.83 kg net. In our catalogue it is assigned to the living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, teenager's room and study, as well as hotels and restaurants — the manufacturer marks its COMMERCIAL LIGHTING line as recommended for hospitality.
