Aluminium end cap for LUMINES INSO LED profile black without hole 12-0122-11 Special Offer

End cap for the LUMINES INSO LED profile, made of black lacquered aluminium. This is the version without a hole — its face is solid, with no gland for a cable. The cap is universal, so the same piece closes the left and the right end of the profile, and it screws onto the profile's end face.

Which profile it belongs to

The part is matched to the INSO profile alone and will not close a profile from another family — the section has to agree to the millimetre. INSO is a recessed profile with a 43 × 30 mm body and a flange that widens the outline to 51 mm; the inside measures 40 mm across, and the strip channel 31.4 mm at a depth of 22.4 mm from the flange.

The cap repeats that outline including the flange, so once fitted it sits flush with the edge of a profile recessed into a plasterboard ceiling or wall. INSO can be joined into longer runs, so end caps are needed only at the two ends of the finished line and not at every joint.

When the version with a hole is needed

A solid face closes the profile with no visible gap but passes no cable. If the supply is to leave through the end of the profile, that end takes the cap with a hole — LUMINES lists it as a separate article in the same black aluminium. The usual arrangement is the drilled cap on the driver side and the solid one opposite.

Aluminium or plastic

LUMINES offers the same position in ABS as well. The aluminium version has the advantage of being the same material in the same black lacquer as the black INSO profile, so the joint between cap and profile shows no difference in texture or shade.
