Asker Pole Pro 5201GR is a complete 3.5 m lighting column with a built-in LED head: a rectangular shaft of extruded aluminium, powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016), turns at the top into a 39 cm horizontal arm that shines downwards. There is no separate pole and head to match — column and luminaire are one product.
How much light and what kind
The fitting draws 19.7 W, and its LED module delivers 2681 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white, with a colour rendering index of Ra 70. The Ledil VSM lens gives an IESNA type V distribution — wide and even all around the column rather than stretched along a road — which suits squares, car parks and path junctions. 1% of the light goes upwards.
The driver supports DALI2 and NightDim, an automatic mid-night dimming step; it leaves the factory programmed to maximum current, and the manufacturer sets other parameters on request. The module is rated at over 100,000 hours (L90B10) and the driver at 100,000 hours.
Installation and what else to buy
The column weighs 11 kg and stands on four M14 studs spaced 180 × 180 mm, matching a B 50 concrete foundation. The concrete anchor 3091, ground anchor 180 and mounting adapter 1259 are sold separately. The side area of 0.39 m² is the figure the wind load is calculated from when the foundation is chosen.
The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², or up to 3 × 2.5 mm² when fittings are looped through, so several columns can run from one supply line; the gland takes cable from 4 to 13.6 mm in diameter. The fitting is protection class I and needs a protective earth, and installation and servicing are done by a qualified person.
Durability and use
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK08 means resistance to a 5 J impact. The manufacturer intends the column for private grounds and parks; it also suits hotel and restaurant surroundings. The plain, angular silhouette without ornament is modern in style.
