BAUTA LE42678 is a round LED ceiling light: a gold-coloured metal disc against the ceiling and, below it, a ring of vertically set crystals. The disc is 50 cm across, the crystal ring 45 cm, and the whole fitting projects only 12 cm from the ceiling.
Size and where it fits
At 12 cm high it barely lowers the ceiling, so it suits places where a pendant would get in the way of walking through. The 50 cm diameter is worth comparing with the size of the room and the distance to the walls: the fitting takes up half a metre of ceiling, and the gold disc extends 2.5 cm beyond the crystals on each side.
The crystal section is 7.6 cm high and its lower edge measures 42.3 cm across, so the ring narrows slightly towards the bottom. The manufacturer's photos show the crystals forming two tiers: an outer one around the disc and an inner one set lower.
How much light and what kind
The integrated LED module draws 29 W and gives 1481 lm, roughly what an old 100 W bulb did, which is enough to serve as the main light in a smaller room. At 3500 K the light sits between warm white and neutral: less yellow than a traditional bulb, without a cool cast.
The light source is built in and supplied with the fitting, so there are no bulbs to buy, but the LED module is not user-replaceable. The fitting connects to a standard 230 V supply.
Construction and style
The structure is gold-coloured metal and the ring is filled with crystals. Gold with crystal, and a plain disc set against the rhythm of vertical elements, is a combination typical of the glamour style, here given the simple geometric shape of a modern ceiling light.
