BAZAR BIZAR Banara Natural S banana-leaf pendant lampshade 35 cm

BAZAR BIZAR Banara Natural S is a handwoven banana-leaf shade for a pendant light. Its rounded body combines a widely spaced lattice, prominent knots and a more densely woven lower rim. The natural finish leaves the individual fibres and their irregular arrangement visible rather than presenting a smooth, uniform surface.

A 35 cm shade, not a complete wired pendant

The S variant measures 35 cm long, 35 cm wide and 27 cm high. These are shade dimensions, not the dimensions of the complete suspended assembly. Compare them with the available space above a table or in a room corner before choosing a position. The finished hanging height will also depend on the suspension selected separately.

The manufacturer states that no cable is included and recommends a standard E27 fitting. Photographs show an example of the shade combined with a suspension; they do not establish that a complete electrical assembly is supplied. The shade by itself is therefore not a ready-to-connect light fitting.

Open weaving and individual texture

The gaps reveal the interior, making the separately chosen fitting part of the visible arrangement. Banana leaves are worked and woven by hand, and the manufacturer notes natural differences in colour and pattern between pieces. The organic outline and irregular lattice offer a specific connection to boho and Japandi interiors.

Indoor placement only

Banara can form the decorative part of lighting in a living room, dining area, bedroom or hallway. The manufacturer rules out outdoor use, including covered areas, because humidity and weather can damage the material. Any outdoor styling shown in photographs does not change that restriction.

Caring for the banana-leaf weave

The manufacturer recommends regular dusting with a soft cloth or brush. For more thorough cleaning, gently wipe with a damp cloth and allow the shade to dry completely afterwards. Do not soak or excessively wet the weave, as this can weaken its fibres. A dry indoor position takes precedence over the setting suggested by a styled photograph.
