Bollard light Namsos 6034AL light grey LED 13.8 W 3000 K 65 cm - Norlys

Namsos 6034AL is a bollard light with a rectangular body of cast aluminium, powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006. The upper part of the front holds a window with a satin diffuser, and the light leaves it downwards – onto the path or lawn in front of the bollard. The LED module and driver are built in, so no bulb needs to be bought.

Size and installation

The bollard is 65 cm tall and its footprint is 24 × 12 cm, with the wider side being the front that carries the light window. It weighs 6.99 kg and is bolted down through four ø10 mm holes spaced 61 × 121 mm. No anchoring parts are included: Norlys sells a concrete-in anchor (112), a ground anchor (113) and a concrete foundation adapter (114) separately, so the choice depends on whether the bollard stands in a lawn or on concrete.

The manufacturer designed it for gardens, private grounds and public areas. The plain, modern body without ornament suits hotel and restaurant surroundings as well as a home garden. The taller 6033 version, 95 cm high, has the same module and control.

What light it gives

The fitting draws 13.8 W and delivers 904 lm at 3000 K, which is warm white. The manufacturer states a ULOR of 0% and a BUG rating of B1-U1-G0, meaning no part of the light goes above the fitting – it lights the ground, not the windows and sky above it.

Brightness is controlled over DALI2. Dimming needs an installation with a DALI controller; an ordinary phase dimmer will not work with it.

Electrical connection

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and fittings can be looped through with the same cross-section, so several bollards along one path run from a single supply line. The gland accepts round cable of 8–12 mm or 10–14 mm diameter. The fitting is protection class I and needs a protective earth connection.

The manufacturer also states how many of these fittings one circuit breaker can carry: 25 on B10A, 40 on B16A, 37 on C10A and 60 on C16A. On a longer row of bollards, that figure decides how the run is split into circuits. IP65 and IK08 impact resistance allow it to stand in open ground without any cover.
