The Skara 2939BL is a black (RAL 9005) bollard light, 85 cm tall, made from a rectangular aluminium profile with a 12 × 24 cm cross-section. At the top, a projecting head shines downwards through a clear PMMA lens. The profile is extruded and powder-coated.
How much light it gives, and what kind
The LED module, rated at 828 lm, delivers 604 lm from the luminaire at 7.7 W. The Ledil VSM lens has an IESNA Type V distribution – symmetrical, spreading light evenly over the surface all around the bollard rather than in one direction. The manufacturer gives a ULOR of 1.86%, so only a negligible share of the light goes upwards.
3000 K is warm white, calmer than neutral 4000 K light, at CRI 80. The luminaire is phase-dimmable with a trailing-edge dimmer, bought separately. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service; the manufacturer states an L90 lifetime of more than 109,000 h and 50,000 h for the driver.
Installation and wiring
The bollard is bolted down through four ø7 mm holes on a 64 × 64 mm pattern, following the manufacturer's instructions. The concrete-in anchor (2934) and other accessories are not included and are sold separately.
The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm² and allow looping through, so several bollards along a path can run on one supply line. The cable can have a round sheath up to 12.5 mm in diameter. Protection class II means no earth conductor is needed. The luminaire weighs 5.5 kg.
Outdoor durability
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the bollard can stand outdoors without cover, and the optical unit itself – LED module and lens – is sealed to IP67. IK08 is the housing's impact rating. The cable gland is EPDM.
