Bornholm 545 White LED 4000K Outdoor Wall Light by NORLYS

Bornholm 545 is a round outdoor wall light, 29 cm in diameter, with a white body of powder-coated cast aluminium and an opal diffuser of UV-stabilised polycarbonate. The flat, closed form spreads light across the whole diffuser, with no visible LED point.

What light it gives

The integrated LED module draws 10.5 W and the fitting delivers 464 lm — the opal diffuser absorbs part of the source's 1150 lm in exchange for soft, even light without glare. That suits an entrance, a stair landing or the wall beside a door. 4000 K is neutral white with no yellow tint, and CRI 80 renders colours correctly. The manufacturer rates the module at 50,000 h.

Mounting and wiring

The light screws to the wall through two ø5 mm holes spaced 100 × 170 mm. The supply cable enters through the gasket, which must be pierced only by the cable itself — round-sheathed, ø7–10.5 mm; any tool would cost the fitting its seal. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and several lights can be looped through with conductors up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so a whole row runs from one line. Protection class I means it needs an earth conductor, and the manufacturer requires installation by a licensed electrician.

Where it can go

IP65 allows mounting outdoors without a canopy — on a façade, by an entrance or in a passage. The LED module is not user-replaceable: if it fails, a professional service replaces it instead of the whole fitting being swapped.
