FERNE's BRENE FBRS554 is a low side table in agate gray, identified by the manufacturer's colour code 423U. Parallel slats form the top, while rounded corners lead into four gently curved legs. A smooth matte finish keeps the emphasis on this simple outline.
Check the height and the full footprint
At 41.5 cm high, this is an occasional surface beside lounge seating rather than a full-height dining table. The overall length is 54.5 cm and the width is 53.5 cm. Compare the top height with your chair or sofa seat before choosing its position, and allow room to pass beside it. The dimensional drawing shows a usable top area measuring 50 × 47.1 cm, smaller than the table's complete outline.
The maximum load is 50 kg. This is a loading limit, not the weight of the table itself. A slatted top also differs from a continuous surface: position small objects so that they cannot fall through the gaps.
A side table for indoors or outdoors
The manufacturer specifies indoor and outdoor use and confirms resistance to moisture and weather conditions. Water can drain through the spaces between the slats. When planning a balcony or terrace layout, account for the entire footprint rather than only the area available on top.
The gray finish, repeated slat pattern and unornamented shape suit modern, minimalist arrangements. FERNE's catalogue states that BRENE table legs are packed separately, so assembly is required before using the table.
