Rimo is a rectangular coffee table measuring 77.5 × 57.5 cm and 40.5 cm high, made entirely of plastic in agate gray (Pantone 423U). It belongs to the Core Collection of the Polish brand FERNE, manufactured by Prosperplast 1 in Rybarzowice.
40.5 cm is a height matched to armchairs, not to dining
That figure defines what the table is for. With a typical garden armchair seat at around 40–45 cm, the top falls roughly at the knee of a seated person — exactly where a mug is set down or a book laid without leaning. This is not a dining table: eating needs about 75 cm. The Rimo collection also includes a square coffee table (FRIS884) and a matching armchair, so a set can be assembled from these parts.
Rated to 100 kg
The manufacturer states a maximum load of 100 kg — considerably more than a surface for cups requires. In practice that means the table will take someone sitting on it or standing on it to reach something higher, and that a heavy planter or crate can be set on it. On plastic furniture this is a figure worth checking, because models differ widely.
Plastic means zero maintenance
The whole piece is plastic and weather-resistant. It does not rust like steel, does not absorb water and needs none of the annual oiling that teak or acacia demand. It can be left out in the rain, hosed down, and put in the garage for winter with no preparation at all. The surface is matte and smooth — a matt finish does not throw sun into your eyes and shows water spotting less than gloss.
Legs in a separate pack
The table arrives in parts: the legs are packed separately, and fitting them takes a moment and no specialist tools. FERNE gives the reason plainly as logistics — a flat pack takes less space in transport, which lowers the delivery's carbon footprint. For the buyer that means a smaller carton and an easier carry, at the cost of a few minutes of assembly.
Colours in the same family
This piece is agate gray, Pantone reference 423U — a neutral, cool grey. FERNE offers the same model in burnt brick (7600C), earthy toupe (410C), pine green (2411U) and white (S449). Because the colours are given as Pantone references, they can be matched precisely against the rest of the collection instead of guessed from a photograph.
