GS641 is an optional shade in clear, fluted glass for Hinkley lights from the Cambridge collection, distributed in Poland by Elstead Lighting. It is shaped like a tall tulip: narrow at the base and flaring towards the top, with vertical flutes running its full height.
Which lights it fits
The manufacturer offers this shade as an option for the Cambridge wall lights with one and two light sources and for the Cambridge chandeliers with 6, 15 and 25 light sources (codes HK-CAMBRIDGE1, HK-CAMBRIDGE2, HK-CAMBRIDGE6, HK-CAMBRIDGE15 and HK-CAMBRIDGE25). The pleated clip-on shade LS162 is offered for the same fittings, so you can choose between a glass and a pleated shade.
Dimensions and construction
The shade is 19 cm high and 12 cm in diameter, and weighs 0.2 kg. This is a single shade — for a chandelier, the number you need depends on how many arms are to carry one. It contains no bulb or lampholder; the light source belongs to the fitting it is placed on. Clear glass does not change the colour of the light, and the fluting refracts it slightly.
