Corte Horizontal Glass LED Pendant Light 18W 3000K Candellux 32-50779

The Corte 32-50779 is a pendant built around a single horizontal tube of clear glass with a deep rippled relief. Matt black end caps close the tube, a black collar grips it in the middle, and the whole piece hangs on two thin cables from a black cylindrical canopy.

How long it is and how high it hangs

The glass tube is 67 cm long and 6.5 cm across. Set that against the length of your own table: over a table 80–90 cm wide it covers the middle of the top, and over a longer table it draws a clear line of light instead of a single point.

Maximum drop is 200 cm and it is adjustable — the height is taken up on the cables, including after installation. Over a table the bottom edge usually ends up 70–80 cm above the top, so the light covers the surface without shining into the eyes of people seated at it. The luminaire weighs 1.85 kg.

How much light it gives

Two integrated LED modules inside the tube draw 18 W together and give 1080 lm. That is roughly a former 75 W incandescent, spread over 67 cm — enough as the main light over a dining table, while in a larger living room it lights one zone rather than the whole space.

3000 K is warm white. The glass is clear and strongly rippled, so once lit it shows both the texture of the material and the bright strip of the source inside — the light also leaves sideways, not only downwards. The sources are built in and cannot be replaced; the manufacturer rates them at 20,000 hours, about 18 years at three hours a day.

Build and where it fits

The shade is glass while the suspension, the collar and the canopy are steel in matt black — two colours rather than one uniform body. The black parts stay visible with the light off, and they are what draws the line of the fitting against the ceiling.

The manufacturer intends the Corte for over a table, for dining rooms, living rooms and hotel interiors. The horizontal, even form, with no ornament beyond the texture of the glass itself, sits well with plain tops and single-colour walls.
