Egersund Mini 5117GR Bollard Light Graphite LED 9.1W 4000K 85 cm NORLYS

Egersund Mini 5117GR is a bollard light 85 cm tall and 12 cm in diameter, made of cast aluminium powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016). The top 16 cm is a clear PMMA cylinder under a flat cap, with a conical reflector visible inside. The light source is a built-in LED module with its driver, so there is no bulb to buy.

How much light and what kind

The fitting draws 9.1 W. The LED module itself produces 1462 lm, and 917 lm leaves the luminaire — a little more than an old 60 W incandescent bulb. 4000 K is a neutral white, cooler than a traditional bulb, with a colour rendering index of Ra 80.

The light spreads evenly all around the bollard, with 11% of the output going upwards. It dims on phase-cut dimmers of both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE) type, so it works with either kind. The manufacturer rates the module at over 102,000 hours before output falls to 80% (L80).

Installation and what else to buy

The bollard weighs 5.5 kg and is fixed through three ø9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a 65 mm circle. The ground fixings are sold separately: concrete anchor 205, ground anchor 206, concrete-foundation adapter 206S and mounting adapter 3086 — decide before ordering whether the bollard will stand on concrete or directly in soil.

The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², or up to 2 × 2.5 mm² when fittings are looped through, so a row of bollards along a path can run from one supply line. The gland seals a round cable 8–12.5 mm in diameter. The fitting is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth.

Durability and use

IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK08 means resistance to a 5 J impact. The manufacturer intends the bollard for gardens and other private grounds as well as public areas: by a terrace, along a driveway or street, outside a hotel or restaurant. The plain cylindrical form without ornament follows Scandinavian and modern design.
