End Cap for LED Profile Lumines AGO ABS White 2in1 12-1941-01

End cap for the Lumines AGO LED profile: a triangular part in white ABS that closes the profile's cross-section at the end face. Three ribs on the back press into the profile channels, so it holds without glue or screws, and the visible face carries a rectangular scored panel ready to be knocked out.

Which profile it fits

The cap belongs to the Lumines AGO profile alone — a surface-mounted profile with the cross-section of a right-angled triangle of 19.5 × 19.5 mm, designed to aim the light at 45 degrees. Caps from the other Lumines families have a different outline and will not enter AGO, so an order has to follow the profile name rather than the colour alone.

One length of profile is closed with two caps, one at each end. In a longer run made of several lengths their number follows the number of ends, not the metres.

What the 2-in-1 version means

Lumines calls this cap a 2-in-1 version because one piece serves both ends of the profile. As delivered it is closed and covers the end opposite the supply; knock the scored panel out of the face and the opening for the strip's supply lead appears.

Two different caps are therefore not needed for one length, and the decision does not have to be made before installation — the panel is knocked out only once it is clear which side the cable enters from.

Build and the other variants

The body is white ABS and the cap is pushed in by hand, without tools. In the same 2-in-1 form Lumines also offers black (12-1942-01), inox (12-1943-01) and silver/grey (12-1944-01), while the anodised profiles have their own aluminium caps — with a hole (12-1995-10) and without one (12-1995-11).
