Black end cap that closes off the LUMINES inDILEDA LED profile. It is moulded in ABS, has a flat face and an opening for the supply cable.
Which profile it belongs to
The manufacturer assigns it to the inDILEDA system only — the outline of the cap follows that profile's cross-section and will not sit on another family. The side is universal, so the same part closes the left and the right end, and one length of profile takes two of them.
In the with-hole version the inDILEDA caps are also made in white, grey and lacquered silver. You match the colour to the profile finish, because the cap stays visible on the end face of the run.
The cable hole and how it fits
The opening in the face passes the strip's supply lead, so the cable leaves along the axis of the profile instead of needing a way out at the side. At the far end the same cap closes the profile the same way.
It is held by two screws — a screwed rather than a snap-in joint, so the cap comes off and goes back on when the strip needs work. In the inDILEDA assembly diagram the with-hole cap works together with the DOUBLE cover, the LED strip and the mounting springs; each of those is bought separately.
