Endon Bernice 3 × E14 chandelier, antique brass finish, 39 cm, 2030-3AN

Endon Bernice 2030-3AN is a three-arm chandelier made from steel with an antique brass plated finish. Curved arms, small dishes beneath the lamp holders and a decorative central finial give it the outline of a traditional candle chandelier. The bulbs remain exposed, so their shape contributes to the appearance of the fitting.

Choose three bulbs separately

Each arm has an E14 lamp holder. Endon recommends candle-shaped bulbs with a maximum rating of 60 W per holder; bulbs are not included. Suitable E14 LED bulbs can also be used. Choosing the set lets you decide on light colour and brightness rather than accepting the characteristics of a built-in LED module.

The fitting is dimmable. If you intend to dim LED bulbs, select dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer. Three lamp holders do not establish a fixed light output: the amount of light depends on the bulbs fitted. The maximum wattage allowed for each holder is not the energy consumption of the empty chandelier. Since no shades conceal the bulbs, it is worth considering their visible shape as well as their screw base.

Check the drop before positioning

Bernice measures 39 cm across, with an adjustable overall drop of 51–65 cm. Before placing it above a table or within a living area, compare those measurements with the ceiling height and the clearance needed beneath the chandelier. The adjustment refers to the stated overall drop; the cable length is not an additional adjustment range.

Scrolled metalwork rather than enclosed shades

The open arms and scrolling curves suit a classically furnished living room, dining room or bedroom. Antique brass describes the plated finish on the steel, not a solid brass construction. Allow for the exposed bulbs when planning the lighting, as there are no shades screening the sources. Bernice is a Class I fitting and requires a correctly connected protective earth during installation. Endon specifies a two-year warranty.
