Ridgeton is a two-tier pendant 50 cm across. Its steel frame carries an antique brass plating, and panels of clear ribbed glass sit between the vertical posts — the upper drum wider, the lower one narrower. The fitting hangs on a brass chain with a clear flex.
How big it is and how high it hangs
The shade measures 50 cm across and the overall height adjusts between 42 and 183 cm. The chain is 1.5 metres long and is shortened by taking out links, so the hanging height is settled on site rather than when ordering.
Over a dining table the bottom edge usually sits 70–80 cm above a 75 cm top; at 50 cm across the fitting keeps its proportions over a table 80–90 cm wide. It weighs 5 kg — a figure to check against the ceiling fixing you intend to use.
Lamps and light
The fitting takes five E14 lamps of up to 6 W each, so at most 30 W together. No lamps are included, so brightness and colour follow from the lamps you choose — Endon publishes no lumen figure for this fitting, because the output is entirely down to what goes in it.
The glass is clear and ribbed: the vertical flutes spread the light sideways and break up the hard point of the filament, but they do not hide the lamp. It shows through the panels, which is why the maker expects filament candle lamps here — an ordinary opal candle will look different.
Dimming needs two things
The fitting is dimmable, but dimming only works once there is a dimmer in the circuit and lamps marked as dimmable in the holders. That is worth checking when buying the lamps: the candle LEDs Endon lists for this fitting are mostly marked non-dimmable.
Build and where it fits
The brass here is a plating over steel rather than solid metal — hence 5 kg at 50 cm across. The fitting is built to protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor, and the maker covers it with a two-year warranty. Endon intends it for hallways, living spaces and over a dining table; a matching flush ceiling light is available in the same range.
