Famlight Storm S E27 pendant light – clear glass, brushed brass

Famlight Storm S is a single pendant light combining a clear, hand-blown glass shade with brushed brass parts. Its elongated shade has irregular indentations formed by hand using pressure. Both the lampholder and bulb remain visible through the glass, so the appearance of your chosen bulb also contributes to the finished composition.

The smaller Storm shade

The S shade measures 335 mm high and 210 mm wide, distinguishing it from the larger Storm L. This is one pendant, not a set of several drops. The manufacturer's drawing gives an overall height of 1200 mm and a ceiling-canopy measurement of 100 mm. Compare the overall height with your ceiling and the available space above furniture before deciding on placement. Shade height alone does not tell you where the bottom edge will sit once the fitting is suspended.

The pendant format can be considered above a dining table or as a decorative lighting point in a living room or bedroom. In a study, it can supplement other lighting. Choosing it for a working surface requires assessing the actual bulb's light output rather than assuming that the glass shade's dimensions establish task-lighting performance.

One E27 socket and a choice of light source

Storm S has one E27 socket. Famlight's catalogue specifies a maximum bulb wattage of 60 W for article 45-1003001. This is the permitted upper limit for the bulb, not a fixed electricity consumption for the fitting. Brightness and light colour depend on the selected source. Clear glass does not hide it behind an opaque surface, so consider the bulb's visible shape as well as its dimensions relative to the space inside the shade.

Clear glass with brushed brass

This article identifies transparent glass, not the amber or pearl finish. Brass parts at the shade and ceiling add a warm metallic detail, while the slender dark cable maintains a pronounced vertical line. Traditional metal combined with asymmetrically shaped glass can relate to contemporary interiors or classical details. The result remains a single glass pendant rather than a multi-arm chandelier.
