FRANKY 15657-18 Ceiling and Wall Light, Black with Wood-Look Frames, 2xE27 Limited Offer

The FRANKY 15657-18 is a light from the Neuhaus Lighting Group that can be fitted to the ceiling or to a wall. Two arms with exposed E27 lampholders come out of a black metal base, and each is surrounded by an open rectangular frame in a light wood look. The bulbs stay visible inside the frames.

Dimensions and mounting

The light is 57 cm long and 15 cm wide and projects only 9.5 cm from the ceiling or wall. Being this flat, it takes nothing from the room's height, so it suits low rooms and narrow hallways, and the long shape sits well along a wall or above a longer piece of furniture. It weighs 0.81 kg. It is protection class II, meaning double insulation, so it needs no earth wire.

Which bulbs to buy

There are two E27 lampholders, each taking a bulb of up to 60 W. Bulbs are not included. Because the frames are open and the lamps are fully visible, the bulb shape decides how the light looks; the manufacturer's photos show elongated bulbs with a visible filament. You choose the colour and brightness yourself: for living rooms and bedrooms 2700 to 3000 K, a warm light, is the usual choice.

Where it works

The manufacturer intends FRANKY for the living room, dining room, bedroom, office and hallway. Black metal combined with wood-look frames and a plain geometric shape make a modern light that does not dominate the room. It is for indoor use only.
