Asker Pole Pro 5166AL is a complete lighting pole 216 cm tall, made of two segments: an upright mast and an offset rectangular head that reaches 39 cm forward. The profile is extruded aluminium, powder-coated in an aluminium finish, and the light leaves through a sealed clear PMMA lens on the underside.

What arrives and what you still have to buy

The pole and the luminaire are one part — you do not buy a mast and a lantern separately. The base carries a flange with four ø12 mm holes on a 200 × 200 mm pattern, so the pole bolts onto a prepared foundation.

The anchorage itself is not included. Norlys sells it separately as a concrete-set anchor (index 116) or a ground anchor (index 117), and that is the line to allow for in the order.

How it lights

The luminaire draws 7.4 W and delivers 1206 lm, and the distribution is what counts here: the Ledil T2-L lens throws asymmetrically, on an IESNA type III curve, meaning a broad band forwards and to the sides. The pole therefore lights the stretch of path ahead of it instead of making a bright patch at its own foot.

4000 K is neutral white. The ULOR figure is 0.83%, so practically all the light goes down rather than into the sky or a neighbour's window. The luminaire does not dim: it runs at full output or it is off.

Wiring, and how many poles on one circuit

The pole runs on 230 V and is wired in permanently. The connection chamber holds terminals for conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², and the fitting can be looped through, carrying the supply on to the next pole without a separate joint.

The maker states how many of these fittings one breaker may carry: 31 on a B 10 A, 50 on a B 16 A, 52 on a C 10 A and 85 on a C 16 A. Those numbers are where planning a path begins — they decide whether the whole run fits on the circuit you already have. The fitting is class I and therefore needs a protective earth.

Build and servicing

The light and connection chambers are sealed to IP65, and the optical set itself — LED module plus lens — sits in an IP67 housing. Impact resistance is IK08.

The LED module and the control gear are replaceable, but only by a professional service — there is no cover to open and no lamp to change. The maker quotes over 100,000 h to L90B10 and the same figure for the driver.
