Gea Luce GES2111N is a graphite recessed step light intended for outdoor installation. Its circular face, aluminium structure and glass diffuser protect an integrated LED module that sends neutral white light indirectly downwards and across the surface immediately in front of the fitting.
3 W LED, 104 lm and 4000 K
The built-in LED source is rated at 3 W, 104 lm and 4000 K. Its beam angle is 149°, and the manufacturer describes the distribution as indirect. Colour rendering is above CRI 80, declared service life is 30,000 hours and the contained light source is energy class F. The fitting operates by simple on/off switching and is not dimmable.
Dimensions and recessed installation
The visible front is 90 mm in diameter and 33 mm deep. The included casing measures 80 mm in diameter and 66 mm long, while the instruction drawing specifies an 82 mm mounting hole. The casing, LED module and transformer are supplied. Connection requires an IP65 terminal block, which is not included, and installation should be completed by qualified personnel with the mains power isolated.
Aluminium, glass and IP65 protection
The body is aluminium with a grey graphite finish, and the diffuser is glass. An IP65 rating denotes dust-tight construction and protection against water jets, supporting use along outdoor circulation routes. The fitting is insulation class I and requires a correctly connected protective conductor. It runs from a 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz supply prepared for this type of installation.
Planning and care details
Net weight is 0.20 kg and gross weight is 0.23 kg. Before purchase, check the recess diameter and depth, cable route and provision for a sealed connection. Electrical parts must not be exposed to water or detergent during cleaning. The manufacturer advises a damp cloth with a mild cleaner, followed by gentle drying with a soft, clean cloth.
