GENEVE 1874WH is an outdoor wall light made of cast aluminium, powder-coated white (RAL 9003). A projecting body sits on a flat, rectangular 31 × 21 cm plate, and light leaves it upwards and downwards at the same time, lighting the wall above and below the fitting.
What light it gives and which bulb to buy
The fitting has one E27 lampholder and is sold without a light source. The maker allows an LED lamp of up to 9 W in an A55–A60 bulb, the classic bulb shape; a larger decorative globe will not fit inside the body. Colour temperature and brightness depend on the lamp you choose, and the user can replace it without calling an electrician.
Half of the light output is directed upwards, so GENEVE is mainly for accenting the wall and facade around an entrance rather than lighting the path in front of the house. The cover is clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate, and the maker supplies it as a service kit if it is ever damaged.
Mounting and connection
The light is 31 cm high and 21 cm wide, projects 9.5 cm from the wall and weighs 1.47 kg. It is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 100 × 132 mm apart. It is a protection class I fitting, so it must be connected to the protective earth conductor, and installation should be done by an electrician.
The terminals take conductors of up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and a round cable of 7–10.5 mm in diameter enters through the EPDM gland. The fitting can be looped through with up to 3 × 1.5 mm², which lets several wall lights along one facade run from a single circuit.
Where it fits
The IP65 rating and silicone gasket allow mounting on a wall exposed to rain with no canopy above it. The housing is rated IK08 for impact resistance. The plain, geometric body without ornament suits modern architecture: on a house facade, at the entrance of a hotel or restaurant, and on garden walls.
