GES1064 is an outdoor wall light with a compact cylindrical body that emits both upwards and downwards. The two beams trace narrow bands of light across the wall — the effect people look for at entrances, on façades, along a driveway or on a terrace. The white aluminium housing and the plain rectangular wall bracket let the fixture disappear against light plaster, leaving only the light itself visible.

Up-and-down light output

The luminaire is double-emission (biemissione): light sources sit at both ends of the tube. The upward beam picks out the texture of the wall and visually raises the façade, while the downward beam lights what is directly below — steps, a threshold, a path. One fixture therefore delivers both a decorative effect and genuinely useful illumination.

Build and weather resistance

The body is aluminium and the lenses are clear tempered glass — a combination that resists impact as well as years of sun, rain and frost. The fixture is rated IP54, meaning it is protected against dust and against water splashed from any direction, which is enough for mounting on an exposed façade. The white finish is one of four in this range, alongside graphite grey, aluminium grey and brown.

Choosing bulbs

The GU10 sockets take ordinary LED lamps, so colour temperature and beam spread are yours to decide. A narrow beam (around 38°) gives crisp, high-contrast bands on the wall; a wider one (100–110°) softens the light and brightens the surroundings more. Warm white at 3000 K suits brick, timber and warm-toned render, while neutral white at 4000 K works with grey, concrete and modern façades. With two 5–9 W lamps the actual power draw stays low, despite the 35 W per socket the fixture will accept.

Installation

The light is fixed to the wall through a rectangular base 5 cm deep; the whole fixture projects 9.5 cm from the masonry, so it does not get in the way of anyone walking past. Installation should be carried out by an electrician — this is a class I fixture and needs a protective earth conductor. Its low 0.47 kg mass also allows mounting on lightweight façade cladding.
