GFA1480H Recessed Light Fixture, White, Gea Luce

Gea Luce GFA1480H is a recessed LED spotlight with a movable cylindrical head. Its aluminium construction has a satin white finish, with a round mounting trim at the ceiling surface. The slim tube projects below that trim: this is a directional fitting with a visible head, rather than a flat light point concealed entirely within the ceiling.

Choose the direction of the light

The head tilts through 0–90° and rotates through 350°, allowing the beam to be aimed at a selected furnishing or architectural detail. A 38° beam angle produces concentrated light. Position the fittings in relation to the areas you want to highlight, rather than expecting one spotlight to illuminate an entire room evenly.

The integrated LED module uses 7 W and provides 509 lm at a colour temperature of 2700 K. This warm light can be used for accents in a living room, bedroom or dining area. A CRI above 90 gives more faithful colour rendering, which matters when lighting decorative objects or displays. The fitting is not dimmable; it operates by switching on and off, so brightness adjustment should not be included in the planned control scheme.

Check the ceiling opening and head dimensions

The manufacturer's drawing specifies a Ø47 mm cutout and a Ø60 mm mounting trim. The cylindrical head measures 35 mm in diameter and 119 mm in length, while the mounting section is shown with a 37 mm dimension. Compare these measurements with the available ceiling space before making the opening, and allow room for the head to move. The plain tubular form suits modern and minimalist interiors without introducing decorative ornament.

Included components and care

Both the LED module and transformer are included, so there is no separate bulb to select. The manufacturer specifies recessed installation indoors by qualified personnel. Disconnect the mains supply before working on the fitting. The assembly instructions recommend a damp cloth and mild detergent, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Water and cleaning products must not reach the cables or electrical components.
