Italux Novala amber glass pendant light, E27, 18 cm, PND-3031-1-BRO-AMB

Italux Novala PND-3031-1-BRO-AMB is a single pendant light with an amber glass shade. The elongated, rounded shade has an irregular relief texture rather than a smooth surface. Its transparent glass keeps both that surface pattern and the fitted bulb visible, so the bulb forms part of the appearance rather than disappearing behind an opaque diffuser.

Allow for the full hanging height

The light measures 18 cm in diameter, with a body height of 39 cm. Italux lists the total height as 112 cm. These measurements describe different parts of the fitting: the body height alone does not tell you how far the complete pendant will hang below the ceiling. Compare the total height with your ceiling and the clearance required beneath your chosen position.

A single vertical shade offers a narrow hanging form instead of a wide, multi-arm chandelier. The manufacturer lists living rooms, bedrooms, studies, dining rooms, halls, kitchens and children's rooms as applications. For a position above a table or kitchen island, consider the area you want to illuminate as well as the distance between the shade and the furniture.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

No light source is supplied. The E27 fitting accepts a bulb rated at no more than 40 W, and the light operates on 220–240 V. Since the bulb can be seen through the amber glass, check its shape alongside its light output and colour temperature when making your selection.

Brightness and light colour depend on the bulb you buy; they are not fixed by an integrated LED module. Italux permits dimming with a suitable light source. If dimming is required, check both the bulb's dimming capability and its compatibility with the intended control. An E27 base alone does not establish either.

Textured glass and a simple suspension

The stated materials are glass and metal alloy. A dark suspension cable and rounded shade give the light the modern form identified by Italux. The textured surface distinguishes it from plain glass pendants. This article code identifies the single-light amber version of the Novala collection, not one of its multi-light variants.
