Italux Torno PND-40813-5R-BK-HBR is a pendant light with five clear, faceted glass shades hanging on black cables of different lengths. The cables drop from a round matt black ceiling canopy and the shades are topped with gold lampholder caps, so the light combines matt black, gold and glass.

Size and hanging

The fitting is 32 cm in diameter and 50 cm high, with an overall height of 120 cm. Compare that second figure with your ceiling height: with a 260 cm ceiling the lowest shade will sit about 140 cm above the floor. The shades hang at different heights, so the light forms a vertical cascade rather than a single level of light.

The 32 cm diameter keeps the cascade compact horizontally — it suits a small table, a narrow hallway or a corner of a living room where a wide chandelier would be too large.

Bulbs and light

Each shade holds an E14 lampholder, five in total. The manufacturer allows a maximum of 40 W per lampholder and provides for both classic and LED bulbs. Bulbs are not included — you need to buy five.

Faceted glass refracts the light and casts small reflections around the room, and a clear shade does not hide the bulb, so it is worth choosing a bulb with an attractive shape. The light can be dimmed if you use dimmable E14 bulbs and a dimmer matched to them.
