JACA LE41424 is an LED pendant light shaped as a slim gold ring 100 cm in diameter, hung on three suspension wires. The ring is made of aluminium, and the light comes out through an acrylic diffuser running along its lower edge.
Size and suspension
Compare the 100 cm diameter with the width of the room or zone the ring will hang over — this is a light for a large interior, not for a single side table. The manufacturer gives an overall height of 190 cm including the wires; check it against your own ceiling height before buying. Three wires keep the ring level, and a cylindrical canopy sits at the top of one of them.
How much light, and what kind
The integrated LED module draws 55 W and delivers 3800 lm — main-lighting brightness, so the ring can be the primary light in a living room. 3000 K is warm white, close to the light of a traditional incandescent bulb. The light source is built in permanently: there are no bulbs to buy, but the LEDs cannot be replaced by the user either.
A smooth ring without ornament in a brushed gold finish is a modern, minimalist form. At this diameter it makes a strong statement under the ceiling, so it looks best where there is open space around it.
