JUNIPER is a surface-mounted ceiling light shaped as a shallow cylinder 9.7 cm across. The body is black, the lower ring is gold, and a clear, fluted reflector sits inside it. The fitting mounts onto the ceiling plane rather than being recessed into it.
Where it fits and how it connects
The cylinder is 9.7 cm in diameter and projects 8.8 cm below the ceiling — a figure to compare with the clearance you have next to wall units, beams or a sloping ceiling. It weighs 396 g, so the fixing point carries very little load.
The maker publishes neither a cut-out diameter nor a recess depth, because this is a surface fitting: it screws straight onto the ceiling, including one with no void above it. It runs off a normal 230 V supply.
How much light JUNIPER gives, and of what kind
The light comes from a built-in LED module drawing 15 W and producing 1556 lm. The module is integrated — there is no lampholder and the source cannot be replaced; the maker states 25,000 hours, after which the whole fitting is changed. The driver is supplied with it, so no separate transformer has to be bought.
3000 K is warm white, light with a slightly yellow cast, close to the old incandescent bulb. The 30° beam is comparatively narrow: the fitting lights a defined area — a worktop, an island, a reading chair — instead of spreading light through the whole room. For general lighting you therefore plan several of them on a grid.
Finish and rooms
The housing is metal and two-tone: a black body and a gold ring at the bottom, which can be matched to handles, taps or hardware in the same shade. The form is smooth, without ornament and with no visible screws.
The maker intends it for the living room, the bedroom, the kitchen and the hallway. The same series also comes in white with chrome, so the finish can be matched to the rest of the hardware in the room.
