KAMELIA is a five-arm chandelier spanning 80 cm. The steel frame is finished in ecru and rubbed with gold on the central ball and along the arms. Four S-curved arms sweep outward and the fifth shade hangs beneath the centre; the fitting hangs on a chain ending in a matching ceiling cup.
How much room it needs above a table
The chandelier is 80 cm across and 80 cm in overall height. Under a 2.5 m ceiling the bottom edges of the shades then sit about 170 cm above the floor, roughly 95 cm above a 75 cm tabletop — high enough for people at the table to see each other past the fitting.
An 80 cm spread is twice the width of a typical single-pendant shade, so this needs a table at least a metre wide and clear ceiling across that whole diameter. It weighs 2.1 kg.
Which bulbs to buy
There are five E27 lampholders, one per shade, and the maker gives 15 W as the maximum for each one separately, not for all five together. No bulbs are supplied, so five have to be bought.
That ceiling settles the type of lamp: incandescent and halogen bulbs with an E27 cap are not made below 25 W, so only LED lamps fit KAMELIA. The shades are wide at the bottom and open downward, so the light falls on the table rather than on the ceiling.
Build
The shades are sewn from fabric with a visible weave, and each is closed underneath by a translucent PVC disc — that disc hides the bulb from anyone sitting under the fitting and diffuses the light. The frame is steel.
The fitting is rated IP20 and is for dry interiors only. Jupiter covers it with a five-year guarantee, longer than the two years usual in this segment.
