LARGO is a five-arm chandelier spanning 58 cm and standing 52 cm tall. A chrome ceiling cup and a rigid rod carry a white cylindrical stem with chrome collars, from which five curved arms reach out. Each ends in a white glass shade shaped like a globe flattened underneath, with a visible crackled texture in the glass; the shades are open at the bottom and face downwards.
How big it is and where to hang it
The 58 cm span is the figure to compare with the width of your table or the distance to the walls — the chandelier occupies a square just under 60 cm on a side. Overall height is 52 cm and it is set by the rigid rod, so the drop is not shortened by adjusting a cable.
Above a table the lower edge of the shades usually sits 70–80 cm above the top: the light then covers the whole surface, and the shades do not block the view between people sitting opposite each other.
How much light it gives, and which bulbs it needs
The chandelier has five E27 holders and takes bulbs of up to 15 W each. No bulbs are supplied, so you choose the colour and the brightness yourself — as a guide, about 800 lm from one bulb matches an old 60 W incandescent, and five such sources light a whole room rather than only the surface below the lamp.
The 15 W per-holder ceiling rules out incandescent and halogen bulbs in practice, because they are not sold with an E27 base at that rating — under that cap the choice is an LED source. The bulbs are replaceable, and the white glass diffuses the light and hides the bulb itself, so what you see is an evenly lit shade rather than a point.
Build and installation
The frame is steel, the shades are glass, and the colours are chrome and white. The lamp weighs 4.53 kg — on a plasterboard ceiling it has to be fixed to the supporting structure rather than to the board itself. The chrome ceiling cup covers the installation box.
The supply is 230 V and the manufacturer intends the chandelier for indoor use only. It carries a 5-year warranty on the fitting. It ships in a 40 × 35 × 35 cm carton.
