LED garden post light NORLYS Asker Pole PRO 1366GR graphite RAL 7016 216 cm 7.9 W 3000 K

NORLYS Asker Pole PRO 1366GR is a 216 cm garden post light made of extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016). The straight 11 cm pole turns at the top into a 39 cm horizontal arm holding the LED module behind a sealed clear PMMA lens. The LED module and driver are built in and included.

How it distributes light

The Ledil T2-L lens gives an IESNA type III distribution — a wide, elongated patch of light thrown along a path or pavement rather than a round pool under the post. Norlys gives the distribution for a mounting height of 2.16 m. ULOR is 0.86%, so practically nothing shines into the sky.

The whole luminaire draws 7.9 W and emits 1125 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. A CRI of 70 is enough for lighting paths, but the colours of plants and facades look less faithful under it than under Ra 80–90 sources. The luminaire is not dimmable — it is simply switched on and off.

Installation and what to buy separately

The pole comes in two segments, and the base plate is fixed with four bolts through ø12 mm holes on a 200 × 200 mm pattern. The ground anchor (117) and concrete-in anchor (116) are sold separately — one of them has to be chosen to suit the ground. The post light weighs 10.54 kg.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm² and allow loop-through wiring to the next post. The glands fit round cable 4–8, 8–12 or 10–13.6 mm in diameter. Norlys states how many of these luminaires fit on one circuit breaker: B10A — 31, B16A — 50, C10A — 52, C16A — 85; these are the numbers for planning the supply of a whole avenue. The luminaire is protection class I and must be connected to a protective earth conductor.

Durability and where it fits

The LED module and lens form an IP67 optical set, while the luminaire and connection compartment are IP65; the housing is rated IK08 for impact. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service, and Norlys gives an L90B10 lifetime above 100,000 h and 100,000 h for the driver. The post light is intended for private grounds and parks, paths and pavements — including around hotels and restaurants.
