LIFT TWO is a cover for the LUMINES TECO lighting system — a 2020 mm length of polycarbonate with an opal Fractal surface. It closes the light line on the room side and spreads the light of the strips hidden inside the profile.
What it fits
The cover is intended for the TECO profile only. The TECO system itself is cast into concrete and mechanically anchored in the formwork, and it is designed for two parallel LED strips — which is what sets the width of this cover.
The LIFT TWO design lets you set the cover surface level with plaster layers of different thickness, so the light line finishes exactly in the plane of the ceiling or wall. The same adjustment leaves service access to the strips once the plastering is done.
How much light it lets through
In measurements from the Lumines photometry laboratory, opal Fractal PC on the TECO profile transmits 68% of the strip output, with a result tolerance of ±5%. Roughly a third of the light stays in the cover — a margin to add when choosing the strip if the line has to reach a given brightness. In return, the opal surface hides the individual diodes and the line lights evenly along its whole length.
Length and what you still need
The length is 2020 mm with a +5 mm tolerance — the 20 mm above the nominal 2 m is an allowance for cutting on site. Lumines also supplies the same cover in 1000 and 3000 mm lengths, so a longer run is built from several pieces.
The package holds the cover alone. The TECO profile, the TECO M1 mounting profile, the LED strips, the power supply and the end caps are bought separately. The manufacturer rates the polycarbonate for -50°C to +100°C, so the material does not limit installation in unheated rooms.
