NORLYS Lillehammer DC2292CS is an outdoor wall light with a plain rectangular body and light directed only downwards. The CS variant has a Corten-steel colour, approximately RAL 8011, but the body itself is powder-coated aluminium. Clear safety glass covers the light opening rather than an opal diffuser.
A downward accent for the façade
The 3.6 W LED module produces warm white light at 2700 K. The complete luminaire delivers 109 lm. The separate 512 lm figure in the manufacturer's documentation refers to the light source, not the output leaving the finished fitting. A 60° downward distribution makes this a way to accent the section of wall below the lamp. Its ULOR value is 0%, meaning no luminous flux is directed into the upper hemisphere.
It can be used for façade lighting, including a wall alongside a terrace or balcony, or above a door. Allow for the modest luminaire output and one-sided distribution when planning positions. Those figures do not promise even illumination across an entire terrace or replace a lighting design for access routes.
Plan for a 24 V DC supply
This variant requires an external constant-voltage power supply for 24 V DC operation. It must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains circuit. The LED module is suitable for dimming, but the power supply and controls need to be selected for the installation design. A professional service can replace the light source; this is not a fitting for an ordinary screw-in bulb that the user changes themselves.
Wall mounting and architectural form
The fitting measures 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. Compare those dimensions with the available façade space before installation. The documentation specifies two 5 mm fixing holes with 45 × 130 mm spacing. Its unadorned body suits modern, minimalist and Scandinavian architectural detailing. The IP65 and IK08 construction includes a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland. Installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions, including the specified cable and sealing requirements.
