Lillehammer 5028GR is an outdoor wall light with a rectangular cast-aluminium body, powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016). It lights in two directions at once – up and down, in 60° beams – so two symmetrical stripes of light appear on the wall above and below the fitting.
Size and connection
The light is 18.5 cm tall and 8 cm wide, and it projects 11 cm from the wall. It is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm.
The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and a round-sheathed supply cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. Further fittings are looped through with up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so a whole row along a façade runs from one supply line. It is a protection class I fitting, so an earth conductor has to be brought to the terminals.
Light and dimming
Two LED modules supplied with the fitting sit inside the body, and the whole light draws 7.3 W – there are no bulbs to buy. 4000 K is a neutral white with no yellow tint, and the colour rendering index is Ra 80. The fitting emits 236 lm, half of it upwards, so it highlights the section of wall around it rather than lighting a large area in front of the house.
The light is phase-dimmable, but the manufacturer lists trailing-edge (TE) dimming only. The type of dimmer already in the installation therefore needs checking before purchase. The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service, and the manufacturer stocks a service kit for this fitting.
Build and use
The covers are safety glass, a silicone gasket seals the housing and the cable enters through an EPDM gland. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the light can hang on a façade without a canopy; impact resistance is IK08. The manufacturer intends it for lighting walls and façades, including balconies and the fronts of hotels and restaurants where fittings are mounted in a row. The smooth body with no ornament suits a modern, minimalist style.
