Luces Exclusivas Tome Smart LE41529 pendant, gold, Ø38 cm, LED 30 W 1950 lm 3000 K

Tome Smart is a flat ring 38 cm across, suspended on three fine cables beneath a round canopy. The rim is aluminium in brushed gold — matt, with a visible directional grain that catches light differently from a mirror finish and does not throw point reflections of nearby lamps. The underside is closed by a white acrylic diffuser.

It lights downward, across the whole face

The entire lower plane of the ring is luminous. At 38 cm across that is a large emitting surface, and through the acrylic diffuser the light comes out evenly, with no visible LED points. The effect on a table: a soft, wide pool with no hard shadows — exactly the opposite of a spotlight. 1950 lumens on 30 W is enough for this single fitting to serve a table for four to six as the main light source.

Warm 3000 K

Warm white at 3000 K is the colour matched to a gold finish: cooler light turns the metal bluish and strips away the honey tone it is chosen for. At a table and in a living room this temperature is also closest to what people read as "cosy". The LED source is built in and supplied with the fitting — no lamps and no driver to buy separately.

Installation and drop

The manufacturer states an overall height of 120 cm — the length the fitting can hang from the ceiling; it is shortened during installation to suit the room and the purpose. Over a dining table the usual gap is 70–90 cm from the tabletop to the lower edge of the shade: high enough not to block the person opposite, low enough for the light to cover the whole table. Three cables hold the ring level and allow it to be trued up after mounting.

Where it works

A flat, horizontal ring is a form made for a table — over a kitchen island, a dining table, a counter. In a living room it works well paired with a low floor lamp: the ring gives general light, the floor lamp lifts the seating area. IP20 restricts it to dry rooms.
