This is an aluminium end cap for the LUMINES H LED profile, black, in the left-hand version and without a cable hole. It pushes into the open end of the profile.
Left and right are two separate codes
The H profile is not symmetrical, so its end caps are handed: Lumines lists the left and the right under different codes. This article is the left one, code 12-0262-11; its counterpart for the other end is the right-hand 12-1012-11. Closing one length of profile therefore takes two pieces under two different numbers, not two of the same.
No hole — the cable has to leave elsewhere
In the H family the manufacturer lists three cap variants: without a hole, with a cable hole, and with a knock-out hole that is moulded but not pierced. This cap is solid, so it closes the end blind — the supply has to leave through the other end or through the side of the profile.
The holed version in the same black aluminium is 12-0262-10 on the left and 12-1012-10 on the right. The knock-out variant exists only in ABS, in five colours. A typical run is closed with the holed cap at one end and the solid one — this one — at the other.
Aluminium, not plastic
This version is aluminium, painted black; the same job is done in the range by the ABS caps. Aluminium has a texture and sheen close to the profile itself, so the end of the run does not stand out in colour from the rest of the fitting.
Lumines end caps are assigned to a specific profile — one code never appears under two profiles. This one fits the H profile only; for another system the cap has to be ordered from that system's own section.
