Lumines ROKA round fixed white die-cast recessed downlight 20-1110-01

Lumines ROKA 20-1110-01 is a fixed, round point fitting in white die-cast aluminium for recessed ceiling mounting. From the room you see a smooth flange with no hinge: beam angle is not adjusted in the ring, only by the MR16 lamp you choose. Two springs clamp the body to the board edge so the trim sits flush with the ceiling.

Cut-out and dimensions

The LED Labs datasheet specifies a 60 mm mounting hole. Outer flange diameter is 77 mm; the inner opening in the ring is 55 mm. Overall body height is 29 mm, of which 11 mm forms the visible flange on the room side. Measure the void above the board before cutting: 29 mm is the fitting height, not spare clearance. The sheet rules out covering the body with thermal insulation.

Minimum distance to the illuminated object is 0.5 m. Because the ring is fixed, it will not replace a tiltable downlight beside a wall, over a picture, or on a display that needs the beam aimed.

MR16 lamp, holder and class III

The matching lamp is MR16. Neither the lamp nor a holder is in the box — both are bought separately. The producer marks protection class III, i.e. an extra-low-voltage circuit. This ring is not meant for mains GU10. IP20 limits installation to dry interiors; a bathroom wet zone and a covered terrace are out of scope.

The carton contains the fitting only. Once the springs sit in the 60 mm hole, the 77 mm flange hides the cut edge.

Look and where it belongs

The white casting is smooth, with no chrome ring and no glass shade. The form is minimal and contemporary, so the white flange recedes on a typical white suspended ceiling. It makes sense as a fixed point in a living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, hall, corridor, office, dressing room, child’s or teenager’s room, and in a dry hotel run, office building or shop. On a stair and in a loft it is indoor lighting only, not a façade luminaire.
