LUMINES X 10-0083-10 is a 1.0 m aluminium LED profile with an anodised INOX finish. It is a surface-mounted profile, while the manufacturer also provides for suspended installations. Its compact rectangular form carries an LED strip and can be used to create decorative light lines in furniture and interior finishing elements.
Profile and compatible X-system parts
The profile alone is not a complete luminaire or light source. The power supply is positioned outside the profile, and a suitable LED strip is required to build the installation. For the X system, the manufacturer lists SLIM covers in PVC or PMMA, including transparent, frosted, milky, black and Lens 15 versions. The cover is pressed in from above, so it should be selected for the planned light effect and installation design.
Installation and length planning
The manufacturer lists double-sided tape, a mounting bracket, a suspension and a hinge as installation methods. X profiles can be used for furniture and architectural lighting; the manufacturer’s diagrams also show an application at a mirror edge. This exact version is 1 m long and carries code 10-0083-10. The family also includes 2.02 m and 3.0 m lengths, but these are not included with this product. The profile is not intended for joining, so check the required light-run length before choosing the system parts.
INOX finish
Anodised INOX-coloured aluminium identifies variant 10-0083-10. Separate end caps with or without a cable opening and mounting accessories are available in the system; they are not automatically supplied with the profile. The product is intended for decorative lighting. Once an LED strip and cover are selected, the light direction is perpendicular.
