Lysfjord 6421GR is an outdoor wall light in the form of an upright cylinder 15 cm in diameter and 43 cm tall, cast in aluminium and powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016). It shines both ways — a narrow beam upward and a wider one downward — through diffusers of optical safety glass.
What light it gives
The upward beam is only 4° wide and draws a thin, sharp line of light up the facade; downward it throws a 60° cone that lights the wall and the ground below. The two integrated LED modules draw 26.5 W together, and the luminaire delivers 946 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white, with CRI 80. ULOR is 4%, so little light escapes above the fitting apart from the upward beam itself.
The DALI-2 driver with NightDim allows dimming from a control system; it leaves the factory programmed to maximum current, and the maker prepares other settings on request. The LED modules are rated beyond 102,000 h (L80) and the driver at 100,000 h.
Size and installation
The body projects 20 cm from the wall and weighs 6.73 kg. It is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes at 73 × 154 mm spacing. The maker calculates the light distribution for mounting at 5 m, which shows the fitting is meant for tall walls rather than beside a door at eye level.
The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on (up to 5 × 1.5 mm²), with a cable diameter of 7–10.5 mm. The 26 A inrush current, however, limits one breaker to 18 fittings on B 10 A and 28 on B 16 A, a figure to check before planning a long row along a facade. The luminaire is protection class I and must be connected to a protective earth conductor.
Where it fits
Norlys intends Lysfjord for lighting wall surfaces, facades and other architectural schemes. IP65 and IK08 impact resistance allow it to be mounted outdoors without an extra guard. The plain cylinder without ornament is a modern form that does not compete with the building.
