Mantra Sabina 6182 Floor Lamp, Imitation Wood, Beige Shade, E27, 182 cm

The Mantra Sabina 6182 is a floor lamp whose stem is shaped like a bent branch — with offshoots, knots and bindings. Contrary to first impression, this is not wood: the structure is metal, and the look comes from a painted imitation-wood finish. The shade is beige fabric in a raw-linen weave, hung at the end of the curved arm.

Light to the side, not overhead

The arm swings the shade out to one side of the base, so the light falls beside the lamp rather than above it. That is an armchair arrangement: you stand the lamp behind or beside the seat and the shade hangs over your shoulder. The 182 cm height is fixed — the manufacturer notes the lamp is not height adjustable.

Details that matter in daily use

The switch is a foot switch on the cable — no reaching up into the shade, no hunting for a switch at the lampholder. The cable is 3.9 m long with a linen-coloured braid matched to the shade; that length genuinely lets you place the lamp in the middle of a room rather than only next to a socket. The lamp does not work with a dimmer.

Construction

The body is metal painted to imitate wood, the shade fabric. At 9.2 kg it stands securely despite the arm reaching out to the side. The fitting is protection class II (double insulated) — no earth required. Supply is 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz, rating IP20, so dry indoor rooms only.

Light source

The lampholder takes a single E27 bulb. No bulb is included — colour and output are yours to choose; with a raw-linen shade a warm white looks right.

The Sabina collection was designed by José Ignacio Ballester. It also includes wall lights, ceiling lights, flush fittings and table lamps in the same idiom, so the lamp can be combined with the rest of the family in one interior.
