NICOSIA is a hammered metal dish 22 cm across in gold, with a small opal glass sphere beneath it. The whole thing hangs on a black cord from a short gold stem — a contrast that makes the cord read as a line rather than as part of the fitting.
The dish is a reflector, the sphere diffuses
That arrangement has a specific optical effect. The opal glass sphere spreads the lamp's light in every direction, and the metal dish above it turns part of the output back downward. The result: no glare from above, and soft warm light aimed at whatever is beneath. The hammered texture stays visible from the side and from below — the gold does not reflect smoothly but breaks the highlight into small points.

Suspension height adjusts across 54-163 cm. That is more than a metre of range, well beyond the usual 100-150 cm — so one fitting suits both a low hang over a bedside table and a tall room. A G9 socket — the lamp is your choice
The fitting takes a G9 socket rated to 28 W. No lamp is included, and because the sphere is opal the shape of the source does not matter — only its colour and output do. The fitting is not dimmable: any brightness control would depend on a dimmable lamp and a dimmer in the installation.

Metal and glass, gold finish with a black cord. Supply is 230 V and the IP20 rating is for dry interiors. It weighs 0.7 kg net, so no reinforced fixing is needed.
