Nordlux Oakland 120 Single white LED batten, 22 W, 4000 K, IP65

Nordlux Oakland 120 Single 47736101 is a white linear batten with an integrated, non-replaceable LED light source. Its narrow plastic body and elongated luminous surface give it a straightforward utility appearance rather than a decorative shade. This single version measures 123.2 cm in overall length; it is not a fitting for separately replaceable fluorescent tubes.

Broad light for utility spaces

The 22 W LED module provides 2400 lm at a neutral-white colour temperature of 4000 K. A 125° beam angle spreads light across a wider area than a narrow spotlight. These characteristics make Oakland an option when planning general lighting for a garage, basement, workshop or storage space. The number of fittings still needs to match the room area, mounting height and required illumination, rather than assuming one batten will light every part of a room adequately.

The light source is already built in, so there is no separate bulb or tube to select. The fitting cannot be dimmed. Nordlux specifies a 25,000-hour LED lifetime; the instructions require replacement of the complete luminaire when its non-replaceable light source reaches the end of its life.

Allowing for length and wiring

Both the height and width are 6.3 cm. Compare the full length with the available ceiling space and the location of the electrical supply before ordering. Raised brackets leave room to route the cable above the batten. It requires a permanent connection to the 230 V mains supply; mounting screws are not included.

Parallel connection and loop-in/loop-out wiring are supported. The instructions limit an interconnected group to a maximum of nine fittings of the same type. Plan that wiring arrangement alongside the spacing of the individual light points.

IP65 with an indoor designation

IP65 indicates protection against dust and water jets, but Nordlux designates this exact version for indoor use. The rating does not establish approval for a garden or façade installation. Class II construction means double insulation. The slim white housing suits functional spaces with a modern or minimalist character where a visually restrained fitting is preferable to a decorative feature.
