STRAIGHT CEILING LED L 7600 Nowodvorski Ceiling Light OpenBox

STRAIGHT CEILING LED L is a plain linear ceiling light 123.5 cm long. The body is lacquered steel in black RAL 9005 and a white PMMA diffuser closes the underside along its full length. The fitting mounts straight to the ceiling and stands 6.5 cm proud of it.

Size and mounting

The profile is 123.5 cm long and 5.5 cm wide, so it takes a band of ceiling comparable to the run of a kitchen worktop or the width of a two-door wardrobe — a figure worth marking on the ceiling before choosing the spot. The 6.5 cm height is how far the fitting drops below the ceiling plane.

Mounting is direct: the fitting screws to the ceiling, with no drop and no canopy. It weighs 2.25 kg, so it needs no reinforced fixing, and the 128.5 cm carton holds the fitting itself together with the user manual and the installation manual.

Light source and colour

Inside works a single LED tube in the T8 standard rated up to 22 W. It is replaceable and it is supplied with the fitting, so the light works as soon as it is wired, and years later only the tube is changed rather than the whole luminaire.

The supplied source gives 3000 K, warm white — light with a slightly yellow cast, close to the old incandescent. Because the tube is replaceable, colour and brightness can be changed later by fitting a different T8 tube of the same length. The white PMMA diffuser spreads the light along the whole length, so the tube itself is not visible from below.

Supply and where it can go

The fitting runs on 230 V at 50/60 Hz and is protection class I, so the ceiling point needs an earth conductor. The IP20 rating keeps it to dry interiors — it is not meant for a terrace or the shower area of a bathroom.

The maker intends it for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, offices and studies, and for hotel and restaurant interiors. The form is minimalist: one straight bar without ornament, in a black that draws a clear line across a light ceiling. The fitting is made in Poland.
