Nordlux Vejers Up 25091031 is an outdoor wall light made from galvanized steel and clear glass. A layered metal roof shelters the glass shade, while the exposed construction gives the fitting a classic lantern-like outline. Nordlux identifies the galvanized version as suitable for seaside locations as well.
Checking the wall projection
The fitting is 23 cm high, 22 cm wide and projects 26 cm from the wall; the shade diameter is 22 cm. Compare that projection with the available passage beside the façade before installation. This is an outdoor model: the manufacturer specifies IP54 protection and built-in parallel connection.
One replaceable E27 bulb
The light has one E27 socket for a replaceable bulb, which is not supplied. Maximum bulb wattage is 60 W and the operating voltage is 230 V. An E27 LED bulb lets the installer choose the light output and colour temperature for the location. Dimming is possible when a dimmable bulb and compatible control are used.
Galvanized finish and warranty
Galvanized steel can gradually acquire a darker patina when exposed to the weather. The clear glass leaves the chosen bulb visible. Nordlux states a 15-year guarantee against surface deterioration of galvanized steel under its terms; it does not cover worn components or damage caused by misuse.
Planning the installation
The fitting is Class I, so its connection requires a protective earth conductor. No bulb is supplied; choose an E27 bulb separately, up to 60 W. The glass shade and metal parts create an open decorative form, which means the selected bulb shape will also remain part of the lamp’s appearance after installation.
