NORLYS Asker Pole Pro 1368AL Integrated Garden Pole Light Aluminium LED 8.6 W 3000 K 216 cm

The Asker Pole Pro 1368AL is an integrated garden pole light from Norlys: the aluminium-profile column and the LED luminaire form a single 216 cm unit, topped by a horizontal arm with a downward-facing light panel. The AL version is powder-coated in aluminium RAL 9006, and the column is built from two segments.

Dimensions and installation

Overall height is 216 cm, the arm with the light head is 39 cm long and the base is 24 cm wide. The pole is bolted down through a flange with four Ø12 mm holes on a 200 × 200 mm pattern. No anchor is included — Norlys sells a ground anchor (index 117) and a concrete-in anchor (index 116) separately, so the foundation method is chosen together with the light.

The connection takes a cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter, and the terminals accept up to 5 × 4 mm², so the supply can be looped on to the next pole in a run. The luminaire is protection class I and therefore needs an earth connection.

What light it gives

The Philips Fortimo LED module draws 8.6 W and the luminaire delivers 1130 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The Ledil T2-L lens with an IESNA Type III distribution spreads that light wide and evenly along a path or pavement rather than pooling it in one spot under the pole. Less than 1% of the output goes upward (ULOR 0.87%), so tree canopies and the night sky stay dark.

A colour rendering index of Ra 70 is enough for finding your way outdoors, though colours look less vivid under it than under Ra 90 sources. Norlys designed the light for private and park areas — garden paths, parks and the grounds of hotels or restaurants. The LED and connection compartments are sealed to IP65, and the housing is rated IK08 for impact.

Control, lifetime and servicing

The driver supports DALI2 and NightDim, meaning control from a DALI system or automatic dimming during the night. It leaves the factory programmed for maximum current and other settings are prepared by Norlys by arrangement with its sales team.

Norlys states a lifetime of over 100,000 h (L90B10) for the LED module and 100,000 h for the driver. The LED source and control gear are replaceable, but only by a professional service, using the ZS1368 service kit. One B16A circuit breaker can supply up to 29 of these luminaires, a C16A up to 43.
