The Firenze 830WH is a garden lantern in a classic shape: three bell shades hung from curved arms and mounted on a telescopic pole. It is made of cast aluminium powder-coated white (RAL 9003), and the shades have covers of clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate.
What is in the set and how tall the lantern is
The set consists of the three-arm luminaire (art. 8012), a reducer (art. 3040) and the telescopic pole (art. 3010). The height adjusts between 193 and 256 cm, so the lantern can be matched to the width of a path or to how high the shades should sit above the shrubs.
Parts for anchoring it are not included. The manufacturer offers a concrete foundation (7668), an anchor for setting in concrete (305), a ground anchor (306) and a concrete-foundation adapter (108) separately. The pole base has three ø10.5 mm holes set at 120° on a ø240 mm circle. The lantern weighs 12.31 kg.
Bulbs and light
Each shade has an E27 socket for an LED bulb of up to 9 W in the A55–A60 shape – a larger bulb will not fit under the cover. No bulbs are included and the user replaces them, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself. The manufacturer names, for example, the dimmable Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K for it – three of those give warm light totalling around 2400 lm.
The shades are open underneath and about 18% of the light (ULOR) goes upwards, so the lantern also lights tree canopies and nearby walls, not only the path.
Operating conditions and wiring
IP54 means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, which is enough for a lantern standing in a garden or a park. It is a protection class II luminaire, so it needs no protective earth. The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 2.5 mm² and allow lanterns to be looped through, and the cable can be 6–12.5 mm in diameter. The manufacturer offers a shade service kit (06370797) as a spare part.
