Nice 777AL is a pole-top luminaire in cast aluminium, powder-coated in an aluminium finish (RAL 9006): a slim body splits into arms that carry a round canopy above the light source. The manufacturer's drawing gives it a 55 cm diameter and 70 cm height, and it slides onto a Ø60 mm pole spigot to a depth of 95 mm.
How it lights
The Philips Fortimo LED module draws 36.6 W and the luminaire delivers 3199 lm — enough light for a path, a driveway parking spot or a park alley rather than soft accent lighting. The light is 3000 K, a warm white, and CRI 80 renders colours adequately for area lighting. Distribution is symmetrical and indirect: the source shines up into the canopy, which reflects the light downward, so you do not look straight into bare LEDs. Photometry is calculated for a 4 m mounting height. The luminaire is not dimmable.
Mounting and connection
The pole is not included; mounting adapter 154 and reducers 3070 and 7665 are sold separately as accessories. It has a screwless IP68 connector on a 1 m lead, terminals for up to 3×2.5 mm² and gland seals for cables of 4–14 mm diameter. It is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth. Norlys allows up to 34 of these luminaires on one B16A circuit breaker, which helps plan a circuit for several lamp posts.
Durability and service
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the luminaire works without any cover. The manufacturer quotes an LED life of over 66,000 h (L90B10) and 50,000 h for the driver. The LED module and control gear are replaced by a professional service — this is not a bulb you change yourself. The diffuser is safety glass and the housing is sealed with a silicone gasket.
