Norlys Nora 2469GB LED Outdoor Wall Light, Beige Grey, 10.3 W 4000 K, Satin Glass, DALI-2, IP65

The Nora 2469GB is a flat, square outdoor wall light in powder-coated cast aluminium, finished in beige grey (RAL 7006). The front measures 13 × 13 cm and the fitting projects just 5 cm from the wall. Light leaves through satin safety glass at the top and bottom of the body, so the facade gets two soft, diffused strips of light — one above the fitting and one below.

How much light, and what kind

Two integrated LED modules sit inside, so there are no bulbs to buy. At 10.3 W the fitting delivers 496 lm at a neutral 4000 K — a white without a yellow cast, under which facade colours look natural. A ULOR of 50% means half the light goes up and half goes down: this is wall and entrance lighting, not a floodlight for the driveway.

The driver is included and supports DALI-2 control — the fitting can join a DALI installation and be dimmed from it. The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service, and the manufacturer offers a service kit for this. Norlys rates the modules at over 52,600 h to 90% of initial flux (L90) and over 102,000 h to 80% (L80).

Installation and wiring

The light fixes through two ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm and weighs 0.85 kg. It is protection class I, so it needs an earth connection. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow looping through to the next fitting (up to 5 × 1.5 mm²), so a row of these along a facade can run from a single supply cable. A round-sheathed cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter fits the entry.

On longer runs the inrush current of 6.7 A / 2.4 µs matters — the manufacturer states that one B 10 A breaker takes 46 of these fittings, B 16 A 74, C 10 A 74 and C 16 A 119. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it fits

Norlys intends the Nora for lighting walls and facades. IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the light can hang on an exposed wall without a canopy, and the IK09 impact rating matters wherever it is mounted low, within reach.
